Feeling The Love

This time of year always makes me feel warm and fuzzy…. oh, that’s right, that’s because I am! Anyway, I like to reflect on those ferrets that are less fortunate than I am. I always try to send some cheer their way. This year I am going to send an abundance of Bandits in every tasty flavor, along with some fun toys like the Octoplay and the Ferret Ark.

Oh, by the way, in my sneaky adventures I was able to catch a glimpse of the new website and it is very cool, of course it features some great photos of me, and my friends! I can’t wait for you to see it…. ooh I’d better sign off. I hear footsteps and I’m supposed to be snuggled into my sleep sack.

In With the New…

I hear that change is a good thing, well there are many changes happening all around me and I am pretty excited about it. First of all, my parents have decided to move my fabulous Estate to another room while they are remodeling. There are so many new things to explore that I can hardly contain myself. To top it off they bought me a brand new Octoplay and some treats to make the change easier on me! Aside from that, I heard a secret that is just too good to keep! A new member has joined the Marshall team and she is going to change the website to include more pictures of me!!! Isn’t that great? I think she is going to make things easier for you too, soon you will be able to do things on the site that you couldn’t do before! Write to me and let me know what you would like to see – I’m sure I have some influence around here. In the meantime, I’m going to make out my Christmas wish list…

Keeping My Nose Clean

Of course you can take the title of this blog a few different ways, but I am really talking about staying away from humans and other ferrets that are sick. I've heard a lot of talk swirling about on flu viruses and H1N1 and let me tell you if humans think it's bad, it's even worse for ferrets. I try not to breathe when Carrie, my owner's niece comes to visit. She is always coughing and trying to hold me - luckily for me, I have one smart human and I am kept away from the germs! If I do feel a bit under the weather I usually feel better after I have some Duk Soup and some Furo-Vite!

Remember in my last note I mentioned some exciting things happening? Well they are still happening and I can't stand the secrecy of it all! I just may go insane, because I really want to tell you about all of the new products coming out. I've even had a chance to try some of them out with a few of my friends! Oops, I've probably said too much already. You'll just have to stay tuned...

Oh, and I want to thank everyone who wrote in and submitted more movies that have our extended ferret families in them! We are pretty wonderful creatures, aren't we?

GoodBye Summer, Hello Hollywood!

It’s been quite a while since I last wrote. I really enjoyed my summer, but truthfully I’m looking forward to the cooler temps. I was loading up on Ferret Aide so I wouldn’t get dehydrated.

I’ve been faithfully spying on the wizards here that make my toys and accessories and I can tell that they have some cool things in the works! I can’t wait to get my paws on them, but for now I’ll have to settle in my snuggly Sleep Sack and wait for the opportune moment.

When I’m off spy duty I’m watching movies and let me tell you, ferrets are famous! I never realized how many ferrets in there are in Hollywood! Check out my list of ferret appearances and please let me know if I missed any!

A Day At The Beach!

So my parents decided they've had enough of this weather and are heading to the Bahamas this month. Unfortunately they decided not bring me – you know how ferrets don’t do so well in hot weather. Maybe some of you don’t know about the hot weather thing, it’s not good. We need to be kept cool! My folks usually freeze water in a plastic bottle for me - it’s like low-budget air conditioning, but it works!

While the ‘rents are sunning themselves, I’ll be visiting my Aunt Betsy in Michigan. Michigan aint the Bahamas! At least I have my own Traveling Condo to make the trip a little easier. Of course I’ll bring a lot of my toys to ward off boredom. And I hope Aunt Betsy remembers how much I love Bandits – I’m down to my last bag!

I’ve been shedding a lot lately too and it’s making the hairballs a bit of an issue for me, lickily, I mean luckily, I have my Ferret Lax to keep everything running smoothly…if you know what I mean.

Oh, my friend Thomas, the cat, wanted me to tell you that he loves the new GoodBye Odor for cats. He says his parents have fallen in love with him just like when he was a kitten and he owes it all to GoodBye Odor! Who knew?

Orlando, Here I Come!

I’m so excited I can hardly stand it! I’m going to the Global Pet Expo in Orlando in a couple of weeks! If you make it down there, please stop by and say “hello”. I’ll be in booth 2525, probably chillin’ out in my comfy hammock. There are so many things I can’t wait to show you. The best part is that I am meeting up with my cousins, whom I haven’t seen since last year! I’m bringing them an alligator, one that can’t hurt them of course. I think I’ll bring some Bandits too – we always eat like crazy when we’re together and I’m not so great at sharing. Oh, I almost forgot, I’d better pack some extra Bi-Odor – my cousins are known for bringing the ladies. Speaking of Bi-Odor, I had to discreetly let my buddy Thomas in on my secret. He’s a vain cat who’s very worried about odors, if you know what I mean. Well now he can relax, because there’s a brand new GoodByeOdor just for cats! Can you believe it? I hope Thomas shares it with his other friends – they could use it. Well, I’ve gotta go! I’m enjoying some Duk Soup, it’s good for the ferret soul and I want to be in top form for the show! It's me, Marshall! I'm back from hibernation!

Actually, ferrets don't hibernate, but I went on a long vacation. When I came back I realized that I haven't written to my ferret friends in a quite a while.

Life is great and I'm loving my new estate. I have some new snacks that you'll want to sink your teeth into - they're called Bandit Stix and they taste so meaty, I can hardly stop at one. If you get your claws on some, let me know what you think of them. I can't decide if I like the beef better than the chicken...

Baby it's cold outside!

Thank goodness I have my little fleece blanket to keep me warm because I'm not fond of the low temperatures!  My parents filled my home with toys to keep me busy when they are at work. If I could just figure out how this cage door works I could have some real fun! In the meantime I just play hide and seek in my Elefun! It's probably better that I'm in here when mommy and daddy are gone, because the last time they left me unattended I accidentally choked on a bottle cap! And they say "curiosity killed the cat." Seriously friends, don't think it's a free vacation when the folks let you play around the house - better be careful or you'll end up like my pal Ozzie, but that's a story for a different day!
